A professional service plan should follow the selected equipment’s manual and the installation design. It does not prescribe one pressure, water chemistry or service interval for every system.
Hydraulic design checks
Review commissioning records, alarms, temperatures, flow, pump duty and evidence of repeated cycling or backup operation. Check strainers, dirt separation, air removal and expansion arrangements using manufacturer-approved procedures. Pressure and water-treatment targets depend on materials, volume, height and the supplier’s requirements.
Professional service records
Electrical and refrigerant work belong with competent personnel using the required isolation and safety procedures. R290 equipment still needs a flammability-aware service plan. Fluorinated-gas leak-check and qualification obligations depend on the gas, charge, equipment and applicable rules; an annual legal duty must not be inferred from a generic table.
Interfaces and control permissions
Test control sensors, hot-water priorities, protection functions and fallback settings. Identify the cause of a persistent fault before changing setpoints. Keep parts, software revisions, readings, actions and unresolved observations in a durable record.
Supplier evidence and responsibilities
For a distributor agreement, clarify local technicians, response routes, spare-parts availability and responsibility when equipment and installation are supplied by different parties. Maintenance promises should be written and model-specific. No fixed percentage of efficiency improvement or avoided cost is claimed by this checklist.
